These awards, commissioned by the National Council of Arts Administrators to honor several extraordinary people, were done on handmade paper from the Twinrocker Paper Mill in Indiana. The initials of the Council were rendered as a background layer in acrylic using a poster pen, the text lettered as an overlay with Mitchell nibs and gouache.

Graphic designer Dennis Ichiyama used a variety of Japanese decorative papers and bookcloth to create these unique display cases.
